Help children to create a mnemonic to help them to remember the sequence of planets from the Sun.

Includes a display header, examples of mnemonics (including Pluto or excluding Pluto) and a set of Planet name Initials in bright colours which correspond to their information sheet border colour.

Sequence the planets - Interactive display

Create an interactive display to help children learn the order of the planets in relation to the sun.

Just print them off and back them, then use velcro or blue tack to allow children to move the pictures around the display to try and learn the order.

These planets are not to exact scale due to the vast differences in size of the planets, however, they are different sizes to show their size in relation to each other. A picture of how these could be used in display has also been included.
Planet facts - Interactive display

An interactive display resource designed to get children actively involved in their learning.

Includes a display header, planet names and 2 facts about each planet.

Print out and back these and allow children to move the facts to try and match them up correctly.

The planet name cards from this set could also be used alongside or instead of the pictures in the previous set to sequence the planets in order from the sun. Write the correct answer on the back of each card and the children can check how many they got right.
